Limited Seat

As seats are limited, interested students, especially international students, are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Students who have made their initial payment will be guaranteed a seat in the intake and session of their choice.

Admission Guideline (for Malaysian Students)

 
  • Step 1
    Fill up an Application Form which is available at the college or online. Submit your Application Form to TOC Admissions Centre together with the following:
    • One (1) coloured passport size photograph (non-returnable)
    • Three (3) photocopies of Applicant's NRIC.
    • Results Transcripts of SPM, UEC, O-Levels or equivalent.
    • Photocopies of any other important documents or certificates.
    • Photocopy of School Leaving Certificate (Sijil Berhenti Sekolah)
  • Step 2
    Applicants who have completed Step 1 will receive an Offer Pack from TOC comprising of the following:
    • Letter Of Conditional Offer (LOCO).
    • Enrolment Guide, including information on Orientation Guidelines and Fee Payment Schedule.

A range of financing options is available. Students who wish to obtain a loan to finance their studies at TOC should make the necessary arrangements at this point. Further assistance and information can be obtained from the college.

  • Step 3
    Applicants who wish to accept the offer are required to be present at the college to enrol themselves during TOC office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 6.00 pm). For this Enrolment, please:
    • Bring along original Letter Of Conditional Offer (LOCO).
    • Submit photocopies of all relevant documents as specified in Step 1, if necessary.
    • Bring along originals of the documents as specified in Step 1, for verification purposes.
    • Make arrangements for payment in accordance to the Fee Schedule as provided in the Offer Pack.

Payments in the form of cash, cheque, bank draft, direct bank-in or credit cards are acceptable by the college. Please refer to the Enrolment Guide for more details. Applicants who require assistance on accommodation should put forth their requests prior to or during Enrolment in order for the necessary arrangements to be made.

  • Step 4
    Students are required to attend a 1-day Orientation organised by the college, prior to the Start-Of-Class (SOC) date. This Orientation is designed to allow students to be familiarise with the following:
    • Overview of the programme, awards, requirement and assessment criteria
    • Overview of college Rules and Regulations
    • Overview of academic calendar and time table
    • Overview and Presentation on:
      • City & Guilds (UK) assessment and qualifications
      • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia assessment and qualifications
    • English Placement Test
    • Issuance of Uniforms and Tools set
    • Insurance Briefing
    • Attendance is compulsory on both days of the Orientation. Students who do not meet this requirement will not be allowed to commence their studies on Start-Of-Class date. Students are reminded to dress appropriately by adhering to the "Smart Casual" dress code. No slippers, sandals, singlet, shorts or baggy/torn jeans will be allowed. 

  • Step 5
    Students are required to be in uniform on Start-Of-Class day (i.e. TOC Formal White Shirt, TOC Black pants and Black Safety Shoes).
